Many folks commented that the Gerontological Society of America (GSA)'s Annual Scientific Meeting #GSA2024 earlier this month had more sessions on #elderabuse and that these sessions were better attended than in previous year. Really excited to see this increased interest in this important topic. Thanks to The John A. Hartford Foundation, edc.org, Terry Fulmer, Rebecca Stoeckle, Kristin Lees Haggerty, Ruthann Froberg, Randi Campetti and the National Collaboratory to Address Elder Mistreatment for hosting a great dinner event! Including a photo from the Abuse Neglect and Exploitation Interest Group meeting attended by folks from all over the world.
