Pre-medical student Joshua Lachs presents at ACEP 24

Though most state EMS protocols provide guidance on management of agitated patients, including for use of physical or chemical restrains, modifications or specific guidance for older adults are uncommon. Great presentation yesterday at American College of Emergency Physicians #ACEP24 #ResearchForum by pre-medical student Joshua Lachs, who has been contributing to research Weill Cornell Medicine. Excited to continue to collaborate with Josh, Rana Barghout, William Haussner, David Hancock, Emily Benton, and other colleagues to help improve prehospital care for older adults.
