Great job, Daniel Baek, MPH, presenting recently at the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) Geriatrics Models of Care Collaborative about the long-term trajectories of older adults served by our ED/hospital-based elder mistreatment response program, the Vulnerable Elder Protection Team (VEPT)! )! It is exciting that the program evaluation work he has led has found improved post-discharge safety for elder mistreatment victims who engaged with VEPT, with this increased safety durable over 1 year. Additionally, re-presentations highlighted the complexity of elder mistreatment intervention.
